Have you ever gone out to the
mailbox and found the usual ton of unwanted mail and solicitations that
were not requested and imagined how many people receive these mailings
without asking for them and how many trees are cut down over mail that
you do not want or need, that often times hits the garbage can unopened.
Well, America, it's time to fight back.
When you receive these
unwanted sales fliers, open them. If they include a return
envelope that does not require a stamp, keep it. At the end of
every week, take the information from one company and put it in the
return envelope of another and vice versa and then seal them up and send
them back out. Not only will you increase revenue at the post
office, but you will also cost the companies money, not only on the
postage that they have to pay for each item that is mailed back to them,
but also in staff hours, because someone has to open them up to fill the
orders. In addition, it will help keep those piles of junk mail
out of your own landfills if the companies are out of state and
sometimes when you do such things, they actually take you off of their
lists so that you don't have to keep receiving their offers!
